The Young Writers Boot Camp with Tristan Bancks
Storytelling is not just about writing: it's also about how many ways you can engage audiences with your story. that's multiplatform storytelling - creating a world we can explore through books, blogs, twitter, performances, documentary, news, games, enhanced iPhone apps, and more.
So how do you do it? Join Tristan Bancks (author Mac Slater, Cool Hunter series) for a week of storytelling, creating, and experimenting as you explore how to take one story and tell it more than one way.
Tristan will guide you through building the world of your story, before you head off to explore its possibilities. You will have the chance to experiment with multimedia platforms, and build worlds via Twitter and blogs, extending the narrative through writing and performing, writing news articles and making documentaries, remixing other author's work, and bringing it all together into one multi-platform work.
