Here, apparently, at some place called Paju Book City in Korea, where she's presenting a seminar on digital publishing at an international conference. Paju Book City is literally, a "book city". It was allegedly created/funding by some rich guy who loves books. No joke. This is what the official blurb has to say, "This is a new 'City of Publishing' on a very large site (approx. 396,000 square meters) next to the Han River north west of Seoul. There are now more than 50 completed separate buildings for publishing companies, offices, printing works and public facilities at Paju."

I became a dad in February 2008—during the run-up to The Day, I worked my butt off, getting as much work in the can as I could before my life got taken over by the fruit of my loins. I’d been ruthless about telling people that I couldn’t even begin to consider their new projects until I had a handle on fatherhood, and I’d caught up on all the assignments and to-dos that had filled my long, long list. For the first time since I dropped out of college, I found myself with nothing—*nothing*!—to do. Read More » |
